A Busy Time

A flavour of life in Lecanvey NS: We have been very busy here in Lecanvey NS! We have received the sacraments of Confession and Confirmation, and we will be celebrating First Holy Communion shortly.

The children in the senior room have completed a six-week block of swimming lessons and have also participated in the Say Yes to Languages French classes.

We were very fortunate to receive CLÁR funding to renovate our football pitch, and we are now thoroughly enjoying our fabulous new astro-turf pitch.

Children from 1st to 6th class gave a terrific performance at Féile Chois Cuain in Louisburgh again this year, and we also attended a show called In Real Life by the Abbey Theatre. Additionally, we took part in a Fighting Words workshop, enjoyed visits from a GAA trainer, cycled around our locality, and participated in various football competitions. To top it all off, we recently won our semi-final in the Cumann na mBunscol small schools blitz!
