Cumann na mBunscol

The senior boys in Lecanvey recently took part in the West Mayo Mini-7s competition in Kilmeena. This was a very successful event run expertly by the local organisers. Lecanvey joined up with Murrisk for the day and fielded a strong team. We competed very well in the group stages, winning our first game against Lankill NS before narrowly losing out to Brackloon NS in the next game. We finished our group games with another narrow defeat to Scoil Phádraig NS. Overall we really enjoyed the day and hope to play an active role in competitions later in the year.
